Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Methods Engineer for a full-time direct hire opportunity in the Cleveland/Akron area. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering. The Manufacturing Engineer uses knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation capabilities to translate the design work product into manufacturing documentation consisting of standard work, routing tags, fixtures, specialized tool requirements, fabrication drawings and all other factory data input to smoothly and efficiently produce and ship products to customers.
Salary Range: $60-65K with 100% paid employer benefits

Manufacturing Engineer job responsibilities include:
Analyzes engineering design documents and/or prototypes and makes recommendations concerning required methods, processes, tools, jigs, fixtures, etc., which are required to fabricate a product
Responsible for resolving manufacturing and tooling problems, set-up, assisting in first piece evaluation, tool proofing, corrective actions, and maintaining existing tooling
Ensures paperwork and proper tools are available prior to setting up operation
Interact with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality control and assure that effective corrective actions are implemented.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Possesses a wide range of skills and contributes to the product manufacturing process using multiple engineering disciplines
Experience with mechanical engineering CAD and CAM tools is a plus
Experience with mechanical, electrical and electronic manufacturing operations is a plus
Experience in a manufacturing production environment is a plus
