Responsibilities:
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with various internal teams and external contract partners to lead package integration and architecture efforts. Foster collaboration and maintain effective communication channels with cross-functional teams.
Innovative Problem Solving: Demonstrate creativity in problem-solving and think dynamically, exploring solutions outside standard conventions. Adapt quickly to new technical areas and stay abreast of emerging technologies.
Drive Package Solutions: Collaborate with 3rd party partners and Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) providers to bring packaging solutions from concept to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM). Lead the development and implementation of innovative packaging solutions.
Industry Leadership: Drive the industry forward by developing and promoting advanced package solutions and specifications. Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage your expertise to influence the direction of package technology in the market.
Promote Innovation: Contribute to Apple's commitment to innovation and new technology. Explore and implement cutting-edge solutions to enhance Apple's hardware performance and user experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
Proven experience in package integration and architecture, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor packaging technologies, materials, and processes.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
Experience in driving industry standards and specifications for advanced package solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technical challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Apple products and ecosystem is a plus.
