IT Application Team Manager

Akkodis has a client looking to add an Application Team Manager. You will lead a support team, driving the optimization and functionality of our business applications, with a primary focus on our ERP system. It is onsite 4 days a week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Monitor core services and jobs in the ERP software to quickly identify and resolve failures.

·       Work with ERP software vendor to test, validate, and deploy patches.

·       Develop, monitor, maintain, and increase efficiencies with backend SQL databases.

·       Investigate and analyze problems or errors associated with business applications. Identify root cause and drive solutions.

·       Develop and administer EDI solutions.

·       Work with IT team to ensure compliance of applications with cybersecurity standards and data privacy regulations.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and requirements, ensuring that systems are configured and adapted to support these needs.

·       Act as a liaison between the IT team, business user groups, and third-party vendors, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills with prevalent professional demeanor

·       Ability to work effectively across departmental teams

·       Maintain professional technical knowledge

·       Advanced level computer literacy

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products and ability to learn new systems quickly

·       Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI

·       Proficient in Windows Powershell, Visual Basic, Python or R

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

·       Associate degree in a relatable field preferred

·       A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a relatable field required

·       Minimum of 3 years experience with ERP software required

·       Minimum of 5 years experience working with SQL Server and SSIS packages

·       Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI preferred

·       Experience with APIs preferred

·       Technical experience with PC and Mac preferred

·       Knowledge of metric and dashboard development preferred

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 PER YEAR
