We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team and provide financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, allocation of expenses, ad hoc analysis for business case development and custom financial analyses. Responsibilities:
Provide financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, allocation of expenses, ad hoc analysis for business case development and custom financial analyses.
Develop and maintain spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis.
Prepare a variety of management presentations.
Research and resolve problems and errors in data from financial reporting systems.
May provide assistance in the development of financial applications.
Prepare interest rate pricing and forecasting information for use in asset and liability management.
Skills:
10+ years experience with at least 3+ years experience as a BA/FA
Candidates must have experience in Oracle/PL SQL or ETL/Informatica or Java
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Deep understanding of Capital Markets with focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk or Capital calculations
Understanding of regulations within the Capital Markets space (Basel, CRR, CRD IV etc)
Attention to detail and self-starter, with an ability to identify risks and issues and suggest improvements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, networking and influencing skills
Ability to work across multiple business groups and domains
Candidate Description: The ideal candidate will be proficient in BASEL, have excellent communication and analytical skills, be capable of working independently with minor supervision. The successful candidate should also have 5+ years related experience providing Finance support preferably in a Financial Services organization. Demonstrated ability to think deeply while working through details required to ensure accountability for results is required. Must have the ability to prioritize tasks/responsibilities needing to be accomplished; work independently; organize resources efficiently; ability/willingness to lead change for continual improvement; strong foundation creating projections/models; detail oriented/diligent with strong organizational/analytical skills. Proficiency in data manipulation is necessary along with strong Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills. Proficiency with financial databases such as Oracle Hyperion Essbase/Smart View is also essential.
