The Customs Systems analyst position requires team-oriented skills and extensive and constant collaboration with respective leadership and colleagues, other business units,  and other foreign corporate entities logistics and customs departments. The role actively promotes the company’s vision of integrity and compliance and leads their respective team with these company principles.

Job Functions:
  • SAP system and inventory experience.
  • Ad Hoc query analysis request as needed out of Customs Software platform
  • Attendance of all system related meetings with IT personnel and other related providers
  • Working meetings as needed with Customs Software Vendor and related IT support for various projects
  • Potential travel;  Teams, and Skype meetings may be applicable
  • Complete understanding of Customs IT systems blueprint and all of the associated connections with other systems and processes
  • Work with End User of Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) to understand basic process and function of the FTZ from a Customs business perspective
  • Understand the general FTA solicitation process from Customs Export Analyst
  • Review and understand the basics of part classification for both the manufacturing and service sides
  • Understand the weekly duty entry process from generation to impact to general ledger.

Job Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of purchasing, accounting and goods receipt inter-relationships
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP/ ERP - MM & PP, MS Office with Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills

• 4 year Bachelors Degree , but may consider prior work experience in related field.

  • Working knowledge of basic manufacturing and inventory processes
  • Understanding of Logistics operation processes, Inventory flows, MRP and database warehouse management;
  • Understanding of purchasing, accounting and goods receipt relationships;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, select audit samples & write result reports
  • Ability to work independently


  • Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Exposure to Data Warehouse processing
  • Knowledge of SQL programming and query
  • Working knowledge of SAP/ ERP - MM & PP
