Personalization Engine Digital Content Editor

Duration: 6+ month contract (will be long-term)

Location: Remote

 

Global hospitality client is looking for a Digital Content Editor to support guest personalization.

 

The ideal candidate will have an eagle-eye for grammar and punctuation, along with a strong sense of maintaining brand voice and marketing principles throughout all curated content. This new role will be instrumental in upholding established brand and quality standards for content that reaches guests and members around the world.

• Review and edit marketing content for our fast-growing and enhanced guest personalization program

  • Maintain strict adherence to established formatting standards, brand tone and voice, corporate guidelines, and Associated Press Style
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, ensuring grammatical and factual accuracy, as well as compliance with business rules and norms
  • Approach complex challenges by distilling content into clear, concise and cohesive messaging by way of creative copy solutioning
  • Proactively seek out insights and glean learnings in order to improve content and drive increased guest engagement
  • Positively engage and build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment where evolving business needs may shift priorities and project deadlines
  • Proactively communicate with manager and team members in order to meet deadlines and respond to stakeholder requirements

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of copyediting experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the areas of marketing, social media, or eCommerce
  • Excellent editorial judgment
  • High level of attention to the smallest of details
  • Ability to easily identify and correct inconsistencies and errors in grammar, spelling, syntax and punctuation
  • Ability to quickly synthesize multiple inputs and cohesively tell a story
  • Ability to perform research and fact-checking as needed and to leverage collaborative insights to adapt copyediting to the evolving business needs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to cross-functionally collaborate

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience writing marketing copy is a plus
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
