The Technical Business Analyst will discover, synthesize, and analyze information from a variety of internal and external sources, including tools, processes, documentation, and stakeholders.
Demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems through logical, digestible solutions that deliver key value to our stakeholders
Understand technology and data transfer mechanisms between environments (AWS and On-Prem)
Understand regulatory controls and build processes for change management
Identify scope gaps and missing requirements of current state (i.e., legacy system) and future state.
Develop test plans and test cases; participate in test results verification.
Participate in the final UAT following product deployment.
Perform requirements analysis, story decomposition, system integration analysis, and data flow design.
Build high quality user stories and acceptance criteria; work with scrum team to refine user stories.
Splunk Business Dashboards:
Source & document requirements from different teams and product owners
Assist the logging and monitoring team in building the business-related dashboards
Work with the UI/UX team to design the look and feel of the business dashboards
Splunk Alerting and Monitoring:
Review the current Splunk alerts
Document requirements and use cases for these alerts
Build out additional Splunk alerts for new technology & business products
Document current state of activities related to environment management, backup and restore, business continuity and DR
Work with the Architecture team to document and build out processes and run/play books for go live production support
Measuring and Reporting SLAs:
Analyze the current reporting to the regulators
Understand and translate the data from our legacy systems
Validate and verify that the future state would have all the data elements for regulatory reporting
Incident Management and Data fixes:
Review and analyze the current scripts used for updating DB2 and other databases
