Position Summary

This position is responsible for designing the processes to deploy and maintain endpoint operations systems and applications. The candidate will work closely with the Desktop Support team and provide 2nd level support for the deployment process. The ideal candidate must have experience with Microsoft and Apple operations systems (OSX and IOS), Microsoft Office applications application development package and knowledge of at least one scripting language.

Essential Job Functions:

• Create, maintain and deploy standard desktop images (Windows/OSX)

• Create, maintain and deploy application install packages for delivery through a software distribution infrastructure (SCCM/Airwatch)

• Ownership of OS deployment process (SCCM, MDT)

• Client management using GPO, SCCM, Powershell, Airwatch for Bash Scripting company endpoints

• Mobile Device Management of company owned IOS devices via Airwatch

• Test patches and upgrades and resolve issues prior to company-wide implementation • Provide 2nd level support to troubleshoot advanced endpoint issues

• Assist in hardware evaluation and selection of company Laptop/Desktop hardware

• Identifies improvement opportunities spanning service delivery, user experience, security, etc.

• Participates in on-call rotation Position Requirements:

• 5 + years’ experience deploying and administering Windows OS and application packages

• 3+ years’ experience deploying and administering Apple OSX in a Microsoft Windows environment

• 3+ years’ experience with Mobile device Management (MDM)

• 5+ years’ experience with PowerShell/Bash scripting

• 5+ Years’ experience with Active Directory account and GPO management

• Positive and professional attitude

• Superior system documentation skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Windows thin client OS (W10 IOT) 

• Experience managing Lenovo thin clients (Lenovo Terminal Manager)

• Experience with VMWare HORIZON • Experience with a printer management and deployment service

• Microsoft Certification

• ITIL Certification
