Systems Validation Engineer

Description

Strong EE fundamentals and hands on lab experience to characterize and validate Hardware systems. Familiarity with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes and Power analyzers, various low-speed and high-speed interfaces (e.g. I2C, SPI, UART, USB, LPDP, MIPI), power analysis and SoC platform design and integration. Able to clearly document completed validation results including creation of technical write-ups/summaries/presentations of findings. Great teamwork and collaboration with one team mindset to characterize and debug electrical and signal integrity issues.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong EE fundamentals
  • Hardware Validation
  • Experience with lab equipment test setup (e.g., oscilloscope, DMM, power supply, power analyzer, etc.)
  • Hands-on Hardware and/or Silicon Validation
  • Familiarity with low-speed interfaces (I2C, SPI)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
  • Debugging hardware and software issues
  • Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (e.g. LPDP, MIPI)
  • Scripting using Python
  • Layout tools (e.g. Cadence Allegro)
  • MacOS
  • Education

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
