Modis is seeking for a Reimbursement A/R Specialist for a direct hire opening in Durham, NC. As the Reimbursement A/R Specialist, you will have outstanding customer service skills and a background in healthcare insurance reimbursement. The Reimbursement A/R Specialist, will work on claims processing, rebilling and collection efforts to reduce accounts receivable and will work closely to improve billing and collections processes.

The Job Responsibilities for the Reimbursement A/R Specialist in Durham, NC include:

  • Provide direct support for billing, claims processing and collections
  • Verify accuracy of billing data and reverse errors
  • Follow up on claims per department procedures with an emphasis on maximizing patient satisfaction
  • Monitor insurance fee schedules and plan requirements for company related products.
  • Qualifications:

  • Experience with CPT, HCPCS, ICD coding
  • Coding/Billing software and related reimbursement platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and collaborative professional team spirit a must!
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a healthcare insurance or reimbursement role with a focus on accounts receivable
  • Experience with claims processing, billing and collections
