Modis is looking for an Accounts Receivable Associate, for one of our top healthcare clients in Orlando, FL! This individual will be supporting the AR Manager in the management and collection of the accounts receivables for two internal divisions. The Accounts Receivable Associate must be an advanced Excel user, and possess excellent communication and problem solving skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contact the customer for the collection of outstanding invoices on a daily basis.
  • Research payment issues involving disputed deliveries, returns and credits which have or may result in delinquent balances.
  • Resolve issues quickly to prevent further aging of delinquent balances.
  • Complete as requested specific account analysis, month end procedures included but not limited to statements, aging and ad-hoc reports.
  • Perform weekly adjustments to accounts.
  • Enter cash receipts through the bank deposit for both divisions.
  • Batching and processing invoices on a daily basis.
  • EDUCATION & REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proficient in accounting computer software and basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • AA Accounting Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years experience in AR and collections with a company that has annual revenue of at least $10 million.
  • Accounting systems, Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Must know the 10 key by touch and the computer keyboard by touch.
