Modis is currently accepting applications for a Database Developer to support our remote operations in Orlando, FL.
The Database Developer will be responsible for the following:
Play a leadership role in database architecture as well as data management stack decisions
Streamline PLC database tasks such as: database development, deployments, scripts, and source control of SQL artifacts
Develop and maintain documentation of the database structures and related dependencies
Review all database changes created by software engineering and provide mentorship and positive feedback
Ensure optimum performance, integrity, and security of databases
Maintenance and development of BLOB storage systems
The Database Developer must have experience with the following:
Practical experience in managing operations and configuration for backend database and related web application systems, including application performance optimization, securing, tuning, audit tracking and reporting
Experience performing effective database development including design, stored procedures, triggers, UDF
Experience with the following SQL Server technologies: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SQL Server Replication/Clustering
Experience managing databases in multiple instance environments such as Development, Testing, Demo, and Production
The Database Developer must meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT-related discipline.
7+ years of SQL Server database development experience
