We are seeking a CSI Integration Engineer for a role with the leading provider of 5G network equipment, and Managed Services industry leader in the United States.

Location: Plano, TX

Job Type: On-site

Contract: 6-months (extensions likely / perm. Conversion possible)

Pay Rate: $60/hr.

SUMMARY

  • Client Implementation Engineer Strong Communication skills (verbal and written), able to work in a team setting, project management and leadership skills, ability to train others, strong organizational skills, serve as the conduit between the Client and in-house Engineering teams.
  • Experienced and comfortable working with customers.
  • Able to communicate technical topics to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop an end-state vision of an automation project or application engaging with clients to identify needs and refine business processes. ·
  • Work on cloud infrastructure to meet up DevOPs need by integrating various tools. ·
  • Assist the Project Manager to design proof of concepts and implementation of projects. ·
  • Role will vary depending on the project needs at client sites. ·
  • Plan and deploy OpenStack computing clouds for development, testing and production environments.
  • Development and configuration of software, executables and services required to deploy Mobility Cloud applications. ·
  • Upgrade existing cloud infrastructure and various cloud services like RabbitMQ, Nagios, Contrail and keystone. ·
  • Develop and deploy non OpenStack software and services and test it on various environments.
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft VDI (Virtual Desktop Interface) technologies Strong Desktop OS and application
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure Technologies (Servers, Storage, Networking, DBs, etc.)
  • Well versed in the implementation, configuration, and support of Microsoft Windows 10 Desktop OS in a VDI setting
  • Familiarity with the installation, configuration, and support of common 3rd party applications (QuickBooks, Sage, Adobe, O365, M365, One Drive, SaaS apps, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies (Backups, Authentication, Networking, DR, Replication, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of migration of Desktop and Servers to the cloud.
  • Working knowledge of UC and Call Center technologies on premise and in the cloud and associated hardware (Handsets, Headsets, conferencing technologies, etc.)
  • NETWORK SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • VPN connectivity between Azure and Customer’s network, basic Firewall Knowledge, TCP/IP troubleshooting skills (ping, Tracert, latency, etc.)
  • EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE ·

  • Linux (Ubuntu and RHEL) administration including networking and protocols · Automation tools Puppet/Chef ·
  • Virtualization technology (KVM/XEN/LXC/VMWare) ·
  • Scripting skills (Python, bash, sh) ·
  • High Availability Architecture and Deployments (Linux HA, pacemaker, DRBD) · Linux packaging technologies (RPM, DEB) ·
  • FUEL and FUEL customization
  • EDUCATION:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information & Technology Management, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Statistics or related field of study ·
  • Software development skills ·
  • Crisp understanding of data flows and data models
