Akkodis is seeking a talented IT Help Desk Agent to join our team located in Portsmouth, NH. As an IT Help Desk Agent, you will be employed by Akkodis and work on-site with our client to provide technology-related support to their employees. Act as the primary point of contact via telephone, email, or web for resolving technology-related issues
Document customer requests in the incident tracking system
Support network and email connectivity, computer operating systems, hardware and software, internally developed applications, mainframe and midrange operations
Interact with customers and peers to diagnose and resolve problems
Troubleshoot, analyze, resolve, track, escalate and accurately document various technical problems
Support features, functionality, and usage of specific applications
Provide Level 1 technical support of low to medium complexity
Provide input and update the technical knowledgebase as necessary
Adhere to established policies and procedures while making sound business decisions under direction by following documented procedures
Report problems with procedures and make suggestions for improvements
Perform related duties as assigned or requested.
Strong customer service skills both on the phone and in person
Basic understanding of Internet and email protocols
PC troubleshooting experience including hardware repairs
The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills along with fundamental IT knowledge. They must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written. The candidate should be enthusiastic about learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment. Reliability & flexibility are extremely important as well as attention to detail when following policies & procedures.Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
