Vehicle Damage Repair Specialist
Role Summary:
- Audit estimates for accuracy, process, and fairness of charges - negotiate claims as needed to provide the most cost effective repair
- Review and confirm estimated repairs from independent body repair facilities
- Facilitate removal of bottlenecks and identify parties that can support the progress of repair process in support of reducing total repair time
- Facilitate strong working relationships with collision repair facilities to ensure quality and timeliness of repairs
- Escalate and source backordered parts indicated by claims management vendor
- Work with claims management vendor to ensure timely approval of repair and accurate documentation and reporting
- Tracking and expediting repairs in process
- Communicate repair status to constituents
Role Responsibilities:
Damage Repair Management 80%
- Function as SME for transportation related collision repair processes
- Communicate with repair shops to ensure proper process and policy adherence and knowledge
- Liaise with company parts logistics sourcing to ensure backorder parts are correct and expedited
- Develop strategies to enable and enhance collision repair network and liaise with the brands collision program managers to leverage opportunities for improved service
- Ensure that body repair vendors are providing the most timely repair and return of company vehicles as possible
- Conduct monthly review of transportation damage reporting with process partners and leadership
- Implement corrective actions on issues failing to meet established process & procedural levels of performance
Analytics and Process Improvement 20%
- Analyze processes and methods in order to identify areas for optimization of total repair time
- Collaborate with internal and external process partners to provide cost, time and performance transparency

4 - 7 years of professional work experience in related field.
