Modis is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator with extensive experience managing end user virtualization environments using Citrix technologies. They will be part of a highly technical team of engineers and responsible for all aspects of the environment ranging from complex projects to daily BAU activities to achieve success in meeting the goals of the organization.
Candidates must have experience with a multiple operating system support model and troubleshooting skills.
Supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's virtualized desktop operating systems.
Schedules and installs new software releases and system upgrades.
Installs, configures, and maintains virtual workstations.
Maintains user profile data and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Monitors and fine-tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.
Performs vulnerability management activities, including evaluating and installing patches, and resolving software-related problems.
Analyzes and resolves problems associated with infrastructure servers, configurations, and software.
Troubleshoots networking and operating system problems related to the virtual infrastructure environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluation, planning, designing, and implementation of new virtual application/desktop infrastructure
Environment maintenance, support, administration and management
Create and maintain support documentation that will be used by engineers while troubleshooting customer issues
Maintain effective working relations with customers
Work selflessly to maintain the commitments and vision of the organization, even when such tasks dont fall within core responsibilities
Additional tasks as needed to assist with time critical efforts
EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES
3+ years of proven experience with and in-depth understanding of Citrix deployments in a multi-site topology, using current versions of Citrixs software stack; most important of which
XenDesktop and XenApp 1912, 7.15
Citrix NetScaler (ADC)
Citrix StoreFront
Citrix Provisioning Methods (MCS and/or PVS)
Citrix App Layering
Citrix Director
Citrix Studio
Server OS 2012/2016
