Responsible for delivering quality products and solutions to customers by understanding product strategy and customer needs, supporting the development of business cases, developing business requirements and supporting product development and deployment. Provides leadership and support to business and system partners through requirements gathering, process development, change management and training programs. Develop and execute an overall project plan, communicate project status and escalate issues, manage risk, conduct post-project evaluations, maintain issues lists and resolve outstanding issues. Must have strong project management skills in financial services, systems development, product development and/or project/product management. Experience in demonstrating leadership and collaboration in a matrix-managed environment and across multiple and diverse groups. Strong consultative, listening, communication (both verbal and written) and analytical skills. Solid understanding of formal development methodologies. A PMP Certification is preferred.

Sourcing Manager/Analyst Our Opportunity: Corporate Vendor Management (CVM) at the company is responsible for implementing a firm-wide, end-to-end vendor relationship management process to maximize vendor performance and value. CVM identifies, mitigates, monitors, and manages vendor risk; and assists company in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. The CVM organization also provides category management and demonstrates strategic sourcing capabilities in the Technology space (Hardware, Software, Telecom and Networks). What you’ll do: The Sourcing Manager/Analyst, Technology (Hardware, Software, Telecom, and Networks), will play a role within Corporate Vendor Management (CVM) managing various procurement projects that include the areas of purchasing, contracting, sourcing, and commodity management. This position will analyze upcoming supplier opportunities for consolidation and co-termination of agreements. In this capacity this person will: • Work with VSM teams to formulate negotiation plans around consolidation recommendations • Assist team in sourcing-related activities as needed. • Monitor project progress regularly so as to report project status to procurement management. • Define functional training requirements and accordingly develop training materials. • Develop innovative approaches to review procurement process effectiveness and explore logistics solutions for customers and suppliers. • Provide recommendations on all procurement related issues, plans, reports, trainings and metrics • Negotiate with suppliers on renewals • Work with internal stakeholders to determine risks and dependencies. • Work with Finance, Legal, Risk and other subject matter experts within the company to ensure that that policies and procedures are followed.

 3+ years of experience in the procurement of Technology (Hardware, Software, Telecom and Networks) category management, strategic sourcing, consulting, vendor management, risk management and/or procurement (required) • Strong research and analytical skills • Understanding of industry trends and market competitions to develop business improvement initiatives • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support category management plans that maximize value and mitigate risks while ensuring internal stakeholders’ requirements are met • Proven track record of building effective working relationships with senior level business partners and internal/ external stakeholders • Self-starter, able to manage multiple projects and succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal direction • Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract law and risk requirements • Flexible and adaptable in handling/implementing change and understands how that change will impact the team, internal Business Partners and vendors • Ability to oversee multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines • Ability to apply change management and consulting skills/knowledge and expertise • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, conflict resolution, facilitation, and negotiation skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Excel (required) and experience with Ariba, Hiperos, PeopleSoft and/or Access is a plus • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
