Help Desk Engineer Job in Rochester, NY:

Direct Hire

Salary Range: $35,000 - $44,000

The Help Desk Engineer will support corporate employees in a variety of areas including hardware, software, network connectivity.

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Engineer Job in Rochester, NY:

·         Provide level 1 and 2 computer support for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and their respective software.

·         Resolve and coordinate the solution to computer hardware, software, internet, and web-based application issues.

·         Build and maintain imaging deployments for computers with agency approved software.

·         Work with infrastructure team to help organize and maintain device inventory and hardware lifecycle.

·         Coordinate vendors to establish new services or resolve issues.

·         Mobile device administration (laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, smart phones.)

·         Provide printer and copier support and maintenance.

·         Utilize help desk ticketing system.

·         Provide remote, in-person and off-site support, with provided tools, as needed.

·         Follow up with end-user to ensure resolution.

·         Support Help Desk Technician as needed.

Qualifications of the Help Desk Engineer Job in Rochester, NY:

·         Associates Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.

·         1-3 years’ experience providing Windows desktop support.

·         Experience with remote support tools.

·         1-3 years’ experience in Microsoft Office/O365 products.

·         Experience with Active Directory.

·         Reliable and organized.

·         Ability to work well in a team environment.

·         Excellent customer service skills.

·         Valid driver’s license that meets Company's motor vehicle standards.

·         Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
