MODIS is currently seeking candidates for a Help Desk Technician role. You will support employees with a variety of computer hardware and software needs. If you have a desire to provide outstanding customer service to assist people with their technology needs, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities of the Help Desk Technician Job in Rochester, NY:
Provide computer support for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and their respective software.
Resolve and/or coordinate solutions to computer hardware, software, internet, and web-based application issues.
Ensure computer imaging has Agency approved software and services and build integrity.
Work with hardware vendors to resolve issues and/or perform minor hardware repairs.
Mobile device setup (laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, smart phones.)
Provide printer and copier support.
Utilize help desk ticketing system.
Provide remote and in-person support, with provided tools, as needed.
Follow up with end-user to ensure resolution.
Qualifications of the Help Desk Technician Job in Rochester, NY:
Associates Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field
Experience providing Windows desktop support
Experience with remote support tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office/O365 products
Experience with Active Directory
Reliable and organized
Ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent customer service skills
Valid driver’s license that meets motor vehicle standards
Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds
