Selected candidates will need to be able to Travel to Rochester, NY 3-4 times a year.

The Technical Application Support Analyst will assists with enterprise-wide technical and user support and of the Supply Chain Management Information Systems and closely integrated financial and clinical applications and projects across the organization. Provides day-to-day technical application support to managers and staff, with a primary coordination role to represent Supply Chain Management user departments’ operational needs. Assists team with technical troubleshooting.

Provides data analysis and technical assistance for system requirements, enhancements. Functions as a technical liaison and coordinator between Operational application users and the Supply Chain Management Team. Provide in-depth analysis of User Requirements and develops both functional and technical specifications as part of the process to solve the users' needs. Designs solutions in current environment and creates new applications in new environments, adhering to company and industry best practices and standards

Responsibilities of the Technical Application Support Analyst Job, Western New York:

  • Participating in workflow analysis key departmental software users and the software vendor to capture current and future state of workflow, including but not limited to documentation of these workflow analyses.
  • Facilitating report generation, interfaces and data flow to and from other applications etc. Using scripting, Business Object Crystal, SQL, develop custom reports, queries, views and extract when standard reports or vendor supplied functionality do not meet needs. Coordination with key end users to ensure the design and building of the software meets departmental operational and functional needs.
  • Provide daily technical application testing, technical specifications documentation, support to the end users and super users of the applications. Provides on-going application testing of all proposed changes. Creates and maintains unit and integrated testing plans, scripts, results and coordination of approvals for software upgrades. Liaison to application vendor to report all software issues, bugs and enhancement requests and track the progress of these requests and issues.
