A ServiceNow Developer position in San Diego, California (Kearny Mesa) is available through Modis. This person will be responsible for the solutions architecture, configuration, design, development, documentation and technical support of our ServiceNow instance. The role will also include serving as an integration lead across the various areas of ServiceNow. Candidates must have a fundamental understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business processes
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Development experience in ServiceNow application customization using client scripts, Business Rules, UI Scripts etc.
Development experience in ServiceNow Service Catalog and CSM
Ability to create, administer and manage ServiceNow Workflows
Tests, analyzes, collaborates and assists with translating business requirements into technical requirements to ensure a smooth implementation of new enhancements, applications or modules
Experience developing on the ServiceNow Service Portal
Experience with ServiceNow's REST APIs and with the development of custom ServiceNow applications and APIs
Solid understanding of the application development lifecycle process, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, and implementation
Highly skilled and proficient in using development tools with the analytical and problem solving skills necessary to troubleshoot
Utilizes best practices for development, conducts thorough testing, analysis, and certification of changes to ServiceNow
Capable of documenting implementation details for future review.
Good critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
