Modis is seeking a Production Support Specialist for one of the leading healthcare manufacturing companies in the US. This opportunity is located in Scarborough, Maine. This role will be responsible for assisting with data entry and office support activities for the Production team to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. This position will experience a varying workload—at times, extremely fast paced and other times slower.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process invoices for payment and update invoice details accordingly.
  • Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods.
  • Manage and organize records and files.
  • Prepare relevant reports as needed.
  • Provide general data entry support across many teams.
  • Complete any additional projects for the Production Manager on an as needed basis.
  • Documents, records, maintains, updates, researches, collects, organizes and presents information in support of production.
  • Orders materials, supplies, and schedules courses for self or others relevant to work.
  • Conducts advanced troubleshooting, understands testing, or inspection methods and techniques if applicable.
  • Creates technical documents using technical writing as required.
  • Gathers information or performs tasks that are used to support daily operations.
  • Role Requirements:

  • Position requires four or more years of relevant work specific experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Qualifications:

  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Uses advanced computer skills such as multiple operating systems, complex databases, desktop publishing applications and spreadsheets.
  • Utilizes knowledge of complex and detailed documentation, procedures, and processes.
  • Interprets drawings as appropriate.
  • Work requires understanding the impact of change control and the consequence of actions.
  • Uses good judgment to resolve or elevate process related issues.
  • Uses facts and data to persuade others.
  • Interpersonal skills include the ability to demonstrate leadership to communicate in a concise and appropriate manner to all levels of the organization, both internal and external.
  • Uses information gathering, tracking, and interpretation of policies, procedures, and standards to resolve problems and select alternatives.
  • Documentation used can be complex and detailed.
