Electrical Engineering Technician

Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Technician for a 6-month contract to hire position with a client located in Sunbury, OH

·       Pay/Salary Range:  $26.75 to $37.50 depending on skill evaluation.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a hands-on-position, involved in ongoing production floor activities on a daily basis in resolving production equipment concerns, participating in improvement activities, and implementing continuous improvements within cross functional teams.

·       2 Year Degree in technical discipline & 4+ years related work experience OR 4 Year Degree in technical discipline & 2+ yrs. work experience OR 10+ years related work experience

·       Responsible for troubleshooting a downed machine

·       Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.

·       Work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations, define issues, collect/establish facts, and draw conclusions.

·        Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.

·       Interpret an extensive variety of machine/part drawings.

·        Can identify and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

·        Apply best practices for repair of mechanical components/systems.

·        Can troubleshoot and repair electrical components. Manipulate and troubleshoot PLC and robot programing and resolving a downed machine
