Business System Analyst with Automation Background

  • Develop artifacts to drive discussion during workshops to ensure that all business needs are captured in requirements.
  • Self-starter to identify business opportunities & problem and work with the business and technology team to define options and develop solutions.
  • Manage the product backlog in a requirement management tool (Azure DevOps) during all phases of the software life cycle.
  • Contribute during all phases of the development cycle (analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment).
  • Requirements refinement and ranking
  • Release/Sprint Planning
  • Create User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and review completed stories
  • Coordinate intra-team dependencies with other projects
  • Assess data from multiple sources (Road map, voice of customer, user observations, tech constraints, clinical, regulatory, design assurance, UX research, and market research) and synthesize it in order to develop solutions that meet customer needs and add value.
  • Experience working with functional and nonfunctional requirements for API and micro services development and/or integration projects.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology, including user story creation.
  • Support internal teams with specific questions, training, and guidance during product deployment and ongoing training.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a business system analyst role within a New Product Development environment.
  • Skilled at leading meetings, conflict resolution, and making presentations.
  • Assess, prioritize and make trade-offs against business, technical and user constraints.
  • Strategic thinker but can execute with great attention to detail.
  • Solves problems with a positive attitude, teamwork, and innovation
  • Must be able to work in the absence of complete information and remain able to make timely high-quality decisions.
  • Automated testing skills as follows:
  • Knowledge of Protractor/Selenium frameworks
  • Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript programming languages
  • Strong programming background
  • Understanding of web application frameworks like Angular
  • Understanding of working with RESTful web service APIs
