Our client is looking to engage a Lead .Net Developer.  Canidates must be based in one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Delaware, Rhode Island

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Be a technical mentor to a team of software developers in the design and construction of web-based solutions using C#.NET and other web technologies
  • Responsible for solution architecture and code design decisions
  • Develop creative solutions to complex problems
  • Stay current with technology trends and apply this knowledge to propel business success
  • Primary developer on highly visible projects
  • Ensure that development and design standards are being followed
  • Help to enable team success through fostering a positive work environment 
  • Works closely with the Software Development Manager in the areas of technological evolution and strategy

    Required Skills and Experience

  • BA or BS degree or higher
  • Minimum seven (7) Years relevant web application development experience
  • Minimum two (2) Years senior level application development experience
  • Technical skills in Microsoft-centric web development (ASP.Net, C#, MVC, Web API, Javascript, SQL Server)
  • Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming
  • Ability to collaborate and work with other members of the development team
  • Knowledge and understanding of project life cycle methodologies
  • Strong time management, organizational, follow-up and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks and manage a high volume of competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Collaborate effectively with all structural levels of an organization to meet company goals and objectives
  • Provide thought leadership on evolving and improving technical design, development practices and team evolution and improvement
