Celebrating Women in STEM | Dr. Swati Mohan

Dr. Swati Mohan was the guidance and controls operations lead on the NASA Mars 2020 Mission. As an aerospace engineer, Dr. Mohan played a critical role in the successful landing of NASA’s Perseverance Rover on Mars. Her path to aerospace engineering began at a young age. After emigrating from India to the United States, inspiration struck when watching Star Trek for the first time. Years later, Dr. Mohan earned her doctorate in aeronautics and astronautics at MIT and eventually landed at NASA.
