The ideal candidate is a Network Engineer with expertise in Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) router based Wide Area Network (WAN). The successful candidate will be responsible for network design, router configuration, device management, multicasting, network testing, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement network architecture for TCP/IP router based WAN.
Configure routers and switches to optimize network performance.
Manage devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Implement multicasting protocols for efficient data transfer.
Perform network testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot network issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Requirements:
5 years experience providing engineering and support on a Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) router based Wide Area Network
Extensive knowledge of network design, configuration, and management.
Strong understanding of multicasting protocols.
Ability to perform network testing and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Must hold a valid Federal Government Secret Level - II Clearance or higher.
