Typical Day in Role:

  • Developing and presenting functional and technical designs.
  • Solutioning and developing scripts to deliver projects.
  • Leading application teams to deliver solutions.
  • Creating and executing implementation plans.
  • Working with technical team members within matrix environments and communicating with stakeholders on an Executive level.
  • Working on project end-to-end to define procedure/processes and push changes through delivery.

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:

1. 10+ years of technical experience as a Solutions Architect, demonstrating a proven track record in delivering technical solutions. Their extensive experience should also include expertise in Software/Database development and design.

2. 5+ years of experience on various protocols, scripting and programming (e.g. PowerShell, Shell Scripting, SQL Programming and Java).

3. 5+ years of experience with designing system, network, and application architectures; both cloud and hybrid technologies (e.g. Azure and GCP preferred).

4. 5+ years of experience performing root cause impact analysis and identify system interdependencies.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Previous exposure to the Banking Industry/Financial Services.
  • Working in diverse large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Working experience with MS Excel/Visio/PowerPoint.
  • Certifications (PMP, TOGAF, CCNP, Cloud).
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Project management experience and ability to drive solution and delivery of project.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
  • Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.

Best vs. Average Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate should be well rounded, willing to wear many hats and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Clear, crisp and concise communication skills.
  • Well organized and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to drive solution and ability to influence various levels of key stakeholders to push project results forward.


  • Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required.

Candidate Review & Selection

  • One round MS Teams video interview with Director, Program Manager and Solutions Architect (30 minutes).

o Interview will cover both technical skills and soft skills (assess communication and problem solving skills).

  • Possibility for a second round interview.
