Cloud Service Tree Configuration Manager: ServiceNow and HPSM Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Location: Montreal (hybrid) Bilingual: French and English Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Configuration Managers of each traditional domain, operations teams and as needed security to ensure that changes to the cloud service tree related to the specific transient CI solution are compliant with policies and company standards while supporting system transformation.
- Perform creations/modifications to service trees
- Support traditional System Configuration Managers. Serve as an interface with the traditional GCS to facilitate the various subscriptions to the repositories linked to the service tree.
- Perform the creation and maintenance of Jira/confluence and BSDM service trees immediately and any new deployment from June and our various applications migrated thereafter.
- Collaborate with the engineering teams of the Horizon TI program to prepare the transformation of service trees to ServiceNow while supporting the transition period including the analysis of discovery results during proof of concepts and target modeling. POC validation is an immediate need, tie-downs, more towards mid-summer (hypothesis)
- Use configuration management tools such as ServiceNow (Nov+) and HPSM (now), as well as Git, Ansible, Terraform, BizzDesign, etc. to (if needed) automate and control changes to the cloud service tree.
- Perform modifications and validations required to ensure that modifications to BizzDesign service and application trees are done safely and with minimal impact on users and business operations while supporting system transformation .
- Monitor the performance of the transient cloud service tree and take action to resolve issues related to system stability, reliability and security.
- Identify potential risks related to the transformation of tactical service trees towards the target and propose solutions to minimize them.
- Support and participate in the transformation of the service tree on premises towards the new cloud computing target.
- Work with stakeholders to plan and execute transformation steps effectively while supporting system transformation.
- Contribute to the automation of configuration management processes using ServiceNow to ensure consistent and controlled management of the service tree.
