Modis is looking for an ambitious individual to join the Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team for one season. Our chosen candidate will experience the future of motor racing first-hand. You’ll work closely alongside Team Principal Ian James during the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Season 8 – the first all-electric international single-seater racing series

Modis and the Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team are looking for someone who is passionate, highly-motivated, forward-thinking, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. You will be working with key operational partners, on technical and non-technical subjects.

Can you effectively cope with change, shift gears comfortably, act fast without having the whole picture? The world of motorsport will put your reflexes to the test. Fluent English is a must, German is a bonus. Sound anything like you? If so, fasten your seatbelt. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team in its third season of ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
  • Liaising with key Operational Partners on technical and non-technical subjects.
  • Ensuring alignment and coordinating marketing communication between Team and parent company.
  • Managing and working with key stakeholders both on and off the track.
  • Implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance across departments.
  • Documenting existing policies, procedures, and work instructions. 
  • Providing overviews, briefings, and debriefings on significant topics. 
  • Supporting Team Principal with administration and reporting.

What we need from you

  • Technical/engineering background – BA preferable

The selection phase will start on 1st July - 31st July 2021 to find the best talent for Leading the Charge alongside Team Principal Ian James. The winner will be selected based on challenges and an interview day during the selection phase.
And the winner is: whoever crosses the finish line during the selection phase will be announced on the 15th August 2021 at the final E-Prix in Berlin
The LEAD THE CHARGE winner starts its great experience of accompanying Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team Principal Ian James for nine months, from November 2021 to July 2022 in UK, Brackley.
