Responsibility
- Developing and refining the organization's cloud strategy based on business goals and technical requirements.
- Designing cloud-based solutions and architectures that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective, while considering factors like availability, performance, and disaster recovery.
- Selecting appropriate cloud services (such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and providers based on project needs and budget constraints.
- Implementing infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or Cloud-formation to provision and manage cloud resources.
- Ensuring that the cloud architecture adheres to security best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
- Designing solutions that optimize cloud resource usage to minimize costs without sacrificing performance or functionality.
- Planning and executing the migration of on-premises systems and applications to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.
- Monitoring and tuning cloud-based applications and systems to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness.
- Designing architectures that provide high availability and disaster recovery capabilities, including failover and backup strategies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, security, and business stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with business goals.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior architects, engineers, and development teams.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cloud computing and related technologies, and evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and best practices for cloud-based systems.
- Troubleshooting complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, performance, and security, and implementing effective solutions.
- Estimating and planning for resource requirements based on projected workloads and growth.
- Continuously assessing and improving cloud architecture designs based on lessons learned and feedback.
- Managing relationships with cloud service providers, evaluating new services, and optimizing vendor contracts.
- Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to team members and stakeholders to enhance their understanding of cloud technologies.
- For the Private Cloud Platform project, we are looking for a colleague with knowledge and experience in cloud techniques, as well as storage, backup, recovery, and also the RHEL operating system.
- We are looking for someone who has knowledge of the Cloud Management Platform (including storage substrate) and endpoint protection.
