You will be responsible for the process design, implementation and process monitoring focusing on optimizing manufacturing capability. In addition, you will define project-based improvement activities on new production platforms.

What you will do

 Be responsible for translating customer process requirements into manufacturing processes for our client's assembly equipment.

 Define and execute of validation, qualification and release plans of assembly processes for new applications or after equipment upgrades.

 Define and execute process studies (DoE's), risk analysis (FMEA’s) and improvement plans.

 Improve the process capability, process control and tooling performance.

 Maintain process related documentation (e.g. process sheets).

 Occasionally visit customer sites in Asia for process studies.

 Work in a multi-disciplinary team software (motion and vision), mechanics, mechatronics engineering.

We have an exciting opportunity with Modis for a (Principal) Process Engineer, based on-site at our client in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

You will be responsible for the process design, implementation and process monitoring focusing on optimizing manufacturing capability. In addition, you will define project-based improvement activities on new production platforms.

Functie-eisen

Experience Required:

 Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics engineering or Applied Physics.

 Specific experience in process engineering, preferably within a high precision equipment environment.

 Experience in with Six Sigma.

 Previous experience with design of experiments (DoE's), risk analysis (FMEA’s) .

 You have strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.

 Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels within the organization and with customers.

Important:

  • You must be physically present on-site in Nijmegen (Home working not possible)
